Did this years truck show get covered in any printed magazine?
Not as of yet.....if it does it usually come out in the next couple of issues.
Also, if there is.....it will still be the same old crap.....pics of the swapmeet, the monster trucks, the monster truck ride and then 5 or 6 pictures of the worst the east coast has to offer. Yet the same mags have a 5 page layout for a high school parking lot show.

Thanks, our group really enjoyed having something to do Saturday night and the lights show and dragging were a good first year effort.
NExt year will be even better I'm sure............ I may even hit the dump valves and drag mine :)

Custom Classic Trucks covered the event in their Nov. 2006 issue. Also on their web-site....
http://www.customclassictrucks.com/eventcoverage/0611cct_carlisle_truck_nationals/
Their editor, John Gilbert, also shot a bunch of features there - 2 of which showed up in the Nov. issue (my truck (http://www.customclassictrucks.com/featuredvehicles/0611cct_1981_dodge_shortbed_crew_cab/) and the Chevy on the cover) and the Ford Econoline in the Dec.'06 issue.

can you give a little more description, ( one page B&W vs 4 page color, etc) so I know whether to even put for an effort try to find it.
More specifically did you see an orange S10 pickup with 2 motors?

All color, but alot of mini's in primer, one big overall shot of the mini area and the typical monster truck shots.
And no I did not notice the S-10 you speak of.
And for what it's worth....I would'nt put any effort into finding it.

Thanks, CKTA.
I guess I'll make mine truck "unique" by putting on 20's and primer.
One last chance for pics, ..... my other truck I was showing was a stock looking white 88 blazer with LS1 engine w/ red coil covers, rolling 3/3 static with 17"s

Can anyone provide a scan of the pages of Carlisle coverage? The magazine on stands now is for MAY with an April remove date. I'd like to see if myself or any friends made it in the highlights.
