I am looking for a glass lens that was used on big GMC trucks and busses. The lens was made by Guide and is 3 1/8" in diameter, approximately 2 1/2" high and beehive shaped. It has a outer ridge lip 1/8" wide and thick. There are 2 notches in the lens to allow the mounting screws to pass through. This lens will be marked on the out lip with the following part number indicating the color.
5956147 R - red
5936789 W - white
5938286 p - pink
5936412 G - green
5936148 A - amber
It will also be marked L. L. Co. 2618. I believe that this is the manufacturer for Guide and the mold part number.
The housing is made of diecast and is 12 1/2" long excluding the lens. It has two holes for screw mounting. The inside is marked 5936151 Guide MB-5A, Made in USA. The housing will be either chromed or painted, depending on what its original application was.
The lens retaining ring is marked Guide M-5B Made in USA.
