Hi. If you were at the show last year for the drag contest, you know that location (with the right-to-left pitch) isn't a good location for the drag contest. I have two new locations picked out: one I know will work. The pavement is "street quality" and flat. However the viewing area for this wouldn't be spectacular; it would be good, but not as good as new location number two. The second location is great, everyone would see, the pavement is smooth, flat side-to-side, etc. But the pavement itself is what I'm not sure about; it is a good version of chip'n'stone. It almost looks road quality, but I'm not sure how well it will produce sparks. Now I bet you can see what I'm getting at...if anyone in the local area can come out a do a couple test drags that would be very helpful in making this years contest a success.
