Why no car give away at ATN's

I am just curious as to why Carlisle doesn't have a vehicle/truck give away at the ATN's?

My understanding is that we used to give one away but no one stayed for it so it was dropped.

Sorry Midnight I was just havin' fun. They used to have givaways at the Truck show like rich said but they haven't in many years. ( This will be my 13th ATN ) I'll looked back into my old programs to see if the gave away any trucks but I only saw givaways for the Chrysler, Corvette and GM shows. I didn't see anything for the old Goodguys Rod&Custom show or the Kit/Replicars either.

Again, sorry for the jokin. Just trying to get everyone in the mood for the show!

I know you were only joking. I didn't mean for my reply to sound nasty. Sorry if it did. I was just curious because I could never remember there ever being a giveaway at the ATN'S . But then I may have been having to much fun to ever notice. I am looking forward to another great year at the ATN's

Hi Guys...I talked to the "official historian" here and this is the scoop...we gave away a BRAND NEW truck in year one and two. No one stayed to win so in year three we did not do it again or since.

As for the other shows with give aways: Import-Kit, Ford, GM, Chrysler, Bike and Corvette all have them! Truck and P&S are the only two without them.

Well most truck folks aren't interested much in brand spankin new trucks. They probably would rather see an 60-70s era fullsize 4x4 jacked up and full custumized and built or a 90s mini thats already done. Heck even a newer truck that is already built. Like early 2000s 3/4 ton jacked up with big wheels and tires.

Mid 90s = Many more blender drinks. Oh, by the way, did I mention that we would have refridgerator so will have plenty of "Jello". There's always room for Jello right?
