Friends,

Our Friend, Mark Cantey (Mark appeared at the all-GM Nationals) has an update on his new book "Driving Style: GM Design's First Century" and you can read it below. Mark is a very dedicated GM enthusiast, the very reason he was driven to write this book.

I know many of you joined Scott Settlemire & me in getting our orders in early -- for those who may not have, note there is limited time to do so before the price goes up. Books begin shipping in November!

GM Vice Chairman Bob Lutz says in the forward, "This book is the result of a true labor of love by GM Design. The group tirelessly mined the archives, combing through the catacombs in the basement, and produced images that have never been published, and haven't been seen by anyone in decades. They found original design sketches, and photos of clay models. They also shot and re-shot some of our historical vehicles from angles never photographed before. This book documents the past in spectacular fashion, and hints at a fabulous future as well."

Mark Writes:

Hello Everyone,

After 2 ˝ years in the making, the long awaited book celebrating 100 years of incredible GM Design history is scheduled to print and ship in November!
