Well I was unaware that there was a forum for carlisle that existed which I think is cool beans and def a good idea whoever thought it up.

Anyways, I have been to the All-truck nats for the past 4 years and will continue to attend if it stops sucking. I remember back in 01 & 02, it was the best shows I'd been too and had loads of fun and got T-shirts and blah blah blah. Well then 03 came I had fun then too but Everyone was getting tossed out for everything, from what I understand the Rice show got out of hand so the truck show was policed strictly(sp?) since its mostly a younger crowd, Well lets just say it sucked watching half of the trucks get tossed out or harassed the whole time. Then came 04 which I could have sworn shoud have been called all big rig nationals. The minis were shoved up on the hill while the Big Rigs were on the nice level plan where it took less excersize to look at them, whats up with that? I'm lazy I guess, anyways I felt like I was at some kind of grandpa show it was so f-ing boring, nobody was hitting switches or had their stereos going, nobody was cruising around showing off, cause thats what u do at a show. Who is running these things? Why not put the Big rigs up on the hill or something. Just my 2 cents. I hope things are diffrent this year.

Well, I would agree with you about the show being mild and having the minis on the hill. However I disagree with making the big rigs go up top. These rigs are very heavy and it would be difficult to climb the hill and weave around the various driveways. Also, these trucks will not like parking on the slope.. It would be too dangerous for them to go up there, not to mention the difficulty getting there from the gates.. The show has improved since all of the trouble.. I had a blast last year.

Yeah I see where your coming from. I can't stand em so I would have no problem with them moving em to a seperate show or something, my 2 cents. I just hope this year is better.

I have seen a steady decline in "fun" over the last few years as well. It's by all means a great weekend but 4 years ago I went for 1 day and had more fun than the entire weekend last year. Like you said, everyone should be hittin switches and pounding some bass. What good is all the money invested if you don't play with your toys at least a little bit!! This year will be my first year showing my own truck, so hopefully we all do our parts to kick the fun up a notch.
