When does registration open?

If our club had the attendance numbers in 04, do we have to submit the 25 something registrations to reserve a tent again this year?

It is always helpful to check in with the Carlisle staff to verify they have you on the list for a tent. We learned this a few years ago when we were just begining to draw a crowd, and we overlooked making a simple call. Oops. Friday morning we showed up but the tent didn't. Carlisle and the tent company were able to take care of it by that afternoon, and since then I just make it a point to make contact early in the process so we don't need to have the stress and high drama just before show time. Simple stuff like this make for a much better show experience for everybody. If mistakes can happen, they undoubtedly will, so just plan ahead. This is from someone who is building expertise one fantastic mistake at a time.

For a kitcar owner selling the car: what is the difference between the corral and the swap meet?

Also, what is the story on tents? Are small tents available at each corral?

If not, what do you do for shade?

Aside from the car itself, is there anything else that one would put in the space, i.e. floor sign, literature table, etc...as 10x30 is pretty huge...

This is first time and aside from bringing car, cant imagine what else is needed.

Thanks

I tried to get information from the web site, but finally gave up. I have a Kelmark GT I would like to take to the show. I see the show starts on Friday and ends Sunday.

What time does it open each day and shut down? There is a list of events, but no time or day for these events in the web site. How do I sign up for any contests, or are there any? What is the cost of entering a car in the show? I was looking at coming down Friday morning and staying over for saturday. What events are held on Friday, and Saturday specifically?

So, does it require 25 members to register before getting the tent, or has the number changed? And by when?

The club tent is still 25 cars for this year. You can download the tent registration form here: http://www.carsatcarlisle.com/pdf/2006_Club_Tent.pdf

Do we need to register for the tent by a deadline (april 20?), or can wait until we have 25 people then register (within reason to the date of the event of course)

The deadline for tent reservations for the import show this year is April 20th. The deadlines are in place so that we may make arrangements to have your tent reserved and ready to go for you.

Totally new member who wants to attend the show as a SPECTATOR. The site seems set up for registering clubs &/or people bringing cars.

I just want to see the Cobra kit cars, get info from makers who''ll be there so I can start figuring out which one I want or can afford to build.

Since I'm coming from CANADA, need info about tickets, exact location, etc.

Could somebody email me at ray_cousineau@yahoo.ca to help me out ? Thanks, Ray
