At Fall Carlisle there was a vendor renting scooters and bikes to anyone and everyone. The people who rented these for the most part were rude and did not mind running you over. According to the magazine handed out at the gate "personal means of transportation is forbidden", then how can there be a vendor renting them out? We went to Spring, GM, truck, bike and Import-kit Carlisle and did not see this vendor and there did not seem to a problem at these shows.
Another quick note, there were some vendors who had lots of mud in their space on Friday, and the Carlisle event staff was handling out hay to these vendors. I do not know if there was any charge, for this service, but it did help a great deal with the mud.
We love to go to the Carlisle shows, and are counting down the days to Spring. Thank you for putting on a great show.

Cavalier,
We did not know that there was a vendor renting out bikes and scooters. If we had, we would have stopped it immediately.
Regarding the hay, it is offered free of charge to the vendors that request it. Our goal is to make the shopping experience for the customer and vendor as positive as possible. The weather is just one of those things that we have to work around.
Thanks for your compliments. I'll pass them on to the staff.
Chris
