Yes. It is trucks only because it is the All Truck Nats. We can't open that small gate and let a flood of cars register in a loop hole.

The cost is $50 if you are not a part of the show and $40 if you are a part of the show. You will pay that when you are here directly to the stereo people.

I am writing to understand this correctly and also If I am reading this right I am glad I did not sign up on the site yet.

Me and a few other trucks plan on competing in the Soundoff. We too have a few questions, but the 1st and most important is this. How do we register, If I read correctly you state that we pay the $40 at the time of the show. Am I correct? If so where do we pay (what gate). If this is not true how do I go about signing up. Do we just register (online) as like we would be competing in the show or no. also do we still have acess to the fun field after competition is over at the soundoff?

We have a few more questions about how this soundoff is being run, shall I ask them here or should I contact the actual people running it. If I am to contact them could you PM me ther einfo so I can do so. Thanks../

You pay the people running the show the day of the show which is sunday. If you are not entered in all truck nationals the price is 50$ i believe. There registration is at gate 3.And for your other questions i could probably answer them for you.I competed there at the P&S show and have done a bunch of there other shows. They put you in classes on how much cone area you have and if you have a wall or a stock inerior. You get 2 runs for that price and extra runs cost like 10$.Fell free to ask any questions you have and i will do my best to answer them for you.

Thank you for the reply.
That is kinda gay that the stereo show is sunday. Do u off hand know what times they run at? I remember last year when I went for the truck show on sunday there were like NO TRUCKS there at all.

Question about how they run there shows:
If you have a fiberglassed door panel that houses a 8 will they stick u in modified? I usually take the 8" woofer out of the door when I compete in comps that go by cone area.
What mic do they use for the show. Audiocontrol 180 or 190 or the TermLab
Where is the mic usually placed
Do you have to have the car completly sealed (windows and doors closed)
can u have the car running?

I think they start around 10 or so.The fiberglass door panel i'm not sure about, but id say if its the whole door then there is a chance they will put you in modified but if its just a pod that houses the 8 then you should be in the lower class like super stock or something. They use the audio control 190 which is fairly close to the term lab, maybe 2 tenths off or so.The mic is placed on the windshield 12 inchs away from the a pillar and 3 inchs off the dash and the vehicle has to be sealed tight, windows and doors closed. The vehicle can be running 1200 rpm max.I was at the all truck nats last year i had a focus with 2 kicker solo x 10's,this year i brought my f-150 out of retirement.

Thats a tough call.Everybody has there opinion and mine is that it would be ok for the lower class which is super stock but then again i'm not the judge so dont quote me on that.I say come on up have fun and check out the big green f-150.If you want a definite answer you could send them a email and the pictures to styler@slapshow.com and put carlisle all truck nats in the topic.

I emailed the person about how the classes are being held. he never responded back. so quick question to you. since it is going by cone area, do u know if there is a limit on amps u can provide. for example can (1 or 2 or 3) 12's get 4 amps? or would it be considered a different class?

Also that setup is very nice. I imagine it is pretty loud. any scores to share :)?
I hope to see u there.. heres a pic of my truck so that u can find me easier.

Nice looking ride. You can ahve as many amps as you want, there is no limit on amps or batteries.I'm hitting around a 155-156 on the audiocontrol 190.
