This is my second year for attending ACN ... this is the second year the
Lifted Truck group has been placed on the side of the hill.

I think this is a bad move and I would have thought that after we
complained about it in 2005 and got moved to flat ground someone
would have planned a little better for this year and put us on flat
ground to begin with but no we had to complain again about
being put on the side of the hill before we were able to move up
on top of the hill.

I might attend 2007 ... but given the last 2 years why should I
think 2007 will be any different .. I guess I could come back
and see if it is 3 strikes and Carlisle is out

I agree that expecting lifted trucks to park sideways on that hill is a little scary, but Dave was cool and allowed us to move to the top where it was level.

My bigger concern is that they need to split the 1994 to Current 4WD Truck - Modified Class into two groups: 2nd Gens and 3rd Gens. I heard moaning and groaning all weekend about that and it got worse after the class was "swept" by lifted 2nd Gens from the PA Chapter of DTW for the second straight year.

Grouping 13 years of trucks with two distinctly different body styles in the same class is not the best idea.

yes Dave did a very good job of fixing the problem with us being parked
on the side of the hill ...

but we should not have to see out people like Dave to get things
fixed

or hope that people like Dave just happen to show up and help fix
things

for example the PT cruisers have 8 classes and they break those up into
a 2 year class 2001 & 2002 for Mild another 2 year class for 2001 & 2002
Stock ... then they lump 2003 & up into a Mild Class and they lump 2003 &
up into a stock class ... but then they lump 2001 & up into ... Radical, Semi-Radical, Semi-Wild and Wild ... for a total of 8 classes covering
5 years of production ...

also the Indy Rams of which I think there were 5 total .. got their own class

but then they lump how many years of Neons together into 2 classes
All Modified and All Stock

then they have 2 classes for RumbleeBee, GTX, Daytona, and SRT-10's
which covers a whopping 3 years

then the 4 wheel drive modified trucks get lumped together covering
12 years of production

then the 2 wheel drive modified trucks get lumped together covering
12 years of production

then all pre 1994 modified trucks get lumped into 1 class

it just seems to me that if you gonna break some classes into
2 years or 3 years maybe it would be a good idea do some sort of
production year/model breakdown for everything

I saw a truck leaning on the hill and all I thought was don't get out the drivers side. It looked dangerous.
